Determination of shock loads on spacecraft structures created by explosive separation of components - Vol. 3
Spacecraft mass properties data are provided for use in mission planning, trajectory documentation, mission simulations, and consumable loading. Spacecraft for use in determining locations of spacecraft components and the relationship to coordinate systems in the launch and docked configuration. Mass properties and consumable loading data for the ASTP mission are included along with consumables mass property data and mission independent consumable loading information for the CSM and DM.
Performance and acceptance data are presented for the multiplexer, scan mirror, power supply, mainframe/top mechanical and the aft optics, assemblies. Other major subsystems evaluated include the relay optics, the electronic module, the radiative cooler, and the cable harness. Reference lists of nonconforming materials reports, failure reports, and requests for deviation/waiver are also given.
Summarized performance data are presented for the following major subsystems of the thematic mapper: the focal plane assembly, the radiative cooler, the radiative cooler door assembly, the top optical assembly, and the telescope assembly. Reference lists of the configurations status and of nonconforming material reports, failure reports, and requests for deviation/waiver are included.
Reference lists are provided to acceptance data for each of the major subsystems of the thematic mapper. Configuration reports, lists and copies of all failure reports, and requests for deviation/waiver are included.
Results of vibration, acoustical noise, and thermal vacuum are described as well as tests studies of EMI/EMC and mass properties conducted for thematic mapper systems integration. Liens are summarized and the engineering change proposal status is presented. Requests for deviation/waiver are included along with failure and nonforming material reports.
Procedures and results are presented for performance and systems integration tests of flight model-1 thematic mapper. Aspects considered cover electronic module integration, radiometric calibration, spectral matching, spatial coverage, radiometric calibration of the calibrator, coherent noise, dynamic square wave response, band to band registration, geometric accuracy, and self induced vibration. Thermal vacuum tests, EMI/EMS, and mass properties are included. Liens are summarized.
Failure reports for flight model-1 of the thematic mapper are summarized showing the symptom and cause of failure as well as the corrective action taken. Each report is keyed to the major subsystem against which the failure occurred. Requests for deviation/waiver are listed by number, description, and current status. Copies of engineering proposals are included.

The analysis of the chordwise load distribution and its sensitivity to the various system parameters represents the next phase of the overall study and is the subject of the present two volume report. The present volume is a compilation of all of the time history response data obtained during the test program previously described. The data have been tabulated in the form of Fourier coefficients for reasons of compactness and for ease by the user to reproduce the unsteady component of the individual pressures and the complete (unsteady plus steady state components) integrated load results. This data volume contains the individual pressure response time histories along the chord followed by the corresponding integrated load results. A further description of these data tables can be found in the text that follows.
This volume presents the tabulated data acquired during the testing of an individual blade control (IBC) system for a full-scale BO-105 helicopter rotor in the NASA Ames 40- by 80-Foot Wind Tunnel. The data are divided into appendices according to the data type. Table 6 in Volume I presents a summary of the data acquired during the 1993 and 1994 IBC wind tunnel tests. The data have been tabulated according to test year, run number, and point number (e.g., 1993 IBC Test, Run 20, pt. 3). The 1993 and 1994 IBC tests were each started with a run number of 1. A new run number was assigned each time the wind tunnel and rotor were restarted, even if no data were acquired during the previous run. For this reason, some run numbers appear to be missing, yet all of the IBC data is included in the tabulated data, with one notable exception. The Fourier series data presented in Appendices H, L, and N are provided only for the data points identified with the ”•“ symbol in the last column of Table 6 in Volume I. This was done to keep the physical size of the data tables reasonable. The table below shows which data were included in these appendices; the data encompass the majority of the IBC inputs tested in the wind tunnel. Data for the points not included in Appendices H, L, and N have been retained in the BO-105 IBC database and are electronically available from NASA Ames Research Center.

Cross section generation and data processing techniques for nuclear rocket shielding methods, modification, updating, and input data preparation - Vol. 3
Model scale data on a 12.2 m (40 ft) arc are presented which were obtained in the hot, static acoustic tests on eleven nozzle designs suitable for use on duct-burning turbofan engines.
Acoustic data are presented scaled to a full size engine by a factor of 8 on a 96.9 m (320 ft) arc and a 731.5 m (2400 ft) sideline.

Data from the final performance tests of the thematic mapper flight model multiplexer at ambient temperature are presented. Results cover the power supply, the input buffer, and the A/D threshold for bands 1 through 4.
Final performance test data for the thematic mapper flight model multiplexer are presented in tables. Aspects covered include A/D thresholds for bands 5, 6, and 7; cross talk; the thermistor; bilevel commands signal parameters; A/D threshold ambient, voltage margin low bus; serial data and bit clock parameters; and the wire check. Tests were conducted at ambient temperature.
