The present weather detector data provide NWS weather type and codes and visibility metrics. These data would be helpful to easily detect fog over the barge.
This dataset contains ThermalTracker-3D flying fauna trajectories saved in json files, along with camera orientation and GPS location data. The 3D trajectories are in x,y,z camera space coordinates. They can be converted to geo-referenced coordinates using the orientation and GPS data.
These data come from the lightning sensor on the barge. The sensor reports every lightning strike within a 300 mile (480km) radius and distinguishes CG-IC strikes and strike polarity.
This dataset includes the reflectivity, estimated rainfall rate, liquid water content, and vertical velocity recorded by the MRR2 averaged over 30 s intervals.
This dataset contains camera images captured by the aft looking barge security camera mounted on the mast.
This dataset contains camera images captured by the aft mounted barge security camera, looking towards the mast.
These data are collected by a Streamline XR Doppler Lidar operated by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and deployed at the Tree Tops site (1.5 km South-West of MLBS site).

This dataset contains data from a NOAA Radar Wind Profiler located on Nantucket island. Data can be found at https://psl.noaa.gov/data/obs/datadisplay/ with the following filters: Active Sites: nte Instrument: 915 MHz Wind Profiler Product: Radar 915MHz Sub-Hourly Weber Wuertz Wind
The field profiling lidar #ZX300-773 was deployed on the ground in an open field 880 m south of the Wind River NEON tower in summer 2025. It was co-located with LLNL's Halo XR+ scanning lidar (z05) and Argonne's Waggle Node to capture mountain-valley flows during the warm summer season. The zip files contain high frequency data. The excel files are 10-min averages.

Tower A is one of four subcanopy towers that were installed in the WREF canopy across a transect distance of 200m. Tower A had two CSAT3-3D sonics mounted at a height of 2.7m a.g.l. One (A1) is facing 290 degrees; the second (A2) is facing 90 degrees. The towers were installed to observe flow just above the forest floor and to identify any advection flows in the canopy. These data were also part of a larger ICOS project looking at forest flow coupling/decoupling with tower sites in Italy and Czech Republic.
These data are from a deployment of the LLNL Halo Streamline scanning lidar in Summer 2025. The scanning lidar was deployed in a clearing area 880 m south of the NEON tower.
Tower D is one of four subcanopy towers that were installed in the WREF canopy across a transect distance of 200m. Tower D had one CSAT3-3D sonic mounted at a height of 2.7 m a.g.l. The sonic is facing 290 degrees. The towers were installed to observe flow just above the forest floor and to identify any advection flows in the canopy. These data were also part of a larger ICOS project looking at forest flow coupling/decoupling with tower sites in Italy and Czech Republic.
Tower C is one of four subcanopy towers that were installed in the WREF canopy across a transect distance of 200m. Tower C had one CSAT3-3D sonic mounted at a height of 2.7 m a.g.l. The sonic is facing 270 degrees. The towers were installed to observe flow just above the forest floor and to identify any advection flows in the canopy. These data were also part of a larger ICOS project looking at forest flow coupling/decoupling with tower sites in Italy and Czech Republic.
Tower B is one of four subcanopy towers that were installed in the WREF canopy across a transect distance of 200m. Tower B had two CSAT3-3D sonics mounted at a height of 2.7 m a.g.l. One (B1) is facing 270 degrees; the second (B2) is facing 90 degrees. The towers were installed to observe flow just above the forest floor and to identify any advection flows in the canopy. These data were also part of a larger ICOS project looking at forest flow coupling/decoupling with tower sites in Italy and Czech Republic.
The WFIP3 event log is a curated record spanning 578 days of meteorological phenomena and field observations that complements the campaign’s high-frequency measurements. The log combines manually documented daily weather discussions with automatically derived indicators of key atmospheric processes, providing standardized, publicly available context to support model evaluation, forecast verification, and case-study selection for offshore boundary-layer research.
