Thematic mapper protoflight model preshipment review data package. Volume 4: Appendix. Part A: Multiplexer data book 2

Final performance test data for the thematic mapper flight model multiplexer are presented in tables. Aspects covered include A/D thresholds for bands 5, 6, and 7; cross talk; the thermistor; bilevel commands signal parameters; A/D threshold ambient, voltage margin low bus; serial data and bit clock parameters; and the wire check. Tests were conducted at ambient temperature.

Experimental investigation of shock-cell noise reduction for dual-stream nozzles in simulated flight comprehensive data report. Volume 1: Test nozzles and acoustic data

Parameters which contribute to supersonic jet shock noise were investigated for the purpose of determining means to reduce such noise generation to acceptable levels. Six dual-stream test nozzles with varying flow passage and plug closure designs were evaluated under simulated flight conditions in an anechoic chamber. All nozzles had combined convergent-divergent or convergent flow passages. Acoustic behavior as a function of nozzle flow passage geometry was measured. The acoustic data consist primarily of 1/3 octave band sound pressure levels and overall sound pressure levels. Detailed schematics and geometric characteristics of the six scale model nozzle configurations and acoustic test point definitions are presented. Tabulation of aerodynamic test conditions and a computer listing of the measured acoustic data are displayed.

Free jet feasibility study of a thermal acoustic shield concept for AST/VCE application-dual flow. Comprehensive data report. Volume 1: Test nozzles and acoustic data

Acoustic and diagnostic data that were obtained to determine the influence of selected geometric and aerodynamic flow variables of coannular nozzles with thermal acoustic shields are summarized in this comprehensive data report. A total of 136 static and simulated flight acoustic test points were conducted with 9 scale-model nozzles The tested nozzles included baseline (unshielded), 180 deg shielded, and 360 deg shielded dual flow coannular plug configurations. The baseline configurations include a high radius ratio unsuppressed coannular plug nozzle and a coanuular plug nozzle and a coannular plug nozzle with a 20-chute outer stream suppressor. The tests were conducted at nozzle temperatures and pressure typical of operating conditions of variable cycle engine.

The Nimbus 4 data catalog. Volume 5: 1 November - 31 December 1970, data orbits 2776-3594

A catalog of data acquired from the Nimbus 4 meteorological satellite is presented. The volume covers the period 1 November through 31 December 1970. The Nimbus 4 catalog presents the type of data available, anomalies in the data, and geographic location and time of the data. The subjects discussed are: (1) summary of operations, (2) orbital elements and daily sensors on table, (3) image dissector camera system montages, and (4) temperature-humidity infrared radiometer montages.

Collaborative Data Curation to Support the Multi-Mission Algorithm and Analysis Platform (MAAP)

Upcoming space-borne missions will offer unprecedented data about Earth but will also feature exponentially high data volumes. These high data volumes will change the way the scientific community works with data and will also create a unique need for improved data sharing and collaboration. NASA and ESA are working together to address these issues by collaboratively developing the Multi-Mission Algorithm and Analysis Platform (MAAP) to improve the understanding of global aboveground terrestrial carbon dynamics. The MAAP will support ESA’s BIOMASS mission, NASA’s GEDI mission and NASA/ISRO’s NISAR mission. The MAAP will be developed in two phases: a pilot phase and a full production phase. The pilot phase will demonstrate collaboration and basic capabilities. The pilot phase will focus on biomass relevant airborne and field campaign data. Two NASA teams are supporting the development of the MAAP. The MAAP engineering team is responsible for the development, maintenance and operations of the MAAP system while the MAAP data team ensures the ongoing quality of the data, metadata and other information provided in the MAAP. The MAAP data team also supports the ingest and archive of identified data to the MAAP platform. This poster describes the use case development process for the pilot MAAP and the data curated in support of those use cases. Additionally, this presentation will outline the pilot MAAP data ingest process and metadata curation effort along with efforts to ensure interoperability between ESA and NASA data and metadata.
