Commercial Fleet Level Emissions and Energy Tracker (COFLEET) v1.0
This tool generates the latest US commercial vehicle fleet composition and operational characteristics using 2021 US VIUS data and assess the fleetwide energy and emission outcomes. The emission rates for commercial trucks and default fleet composition are collected from the U.S. EPA's MOtor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES4). The 2021 US VIUS data is applied to generate fleet characteristics such as the long-haul fraction and the vehicle mileage accumulation rate. The tool also provides fleet turnover and emission forecasts under various forecasted fleet electrification scenarios. This tool helps policymakers and practitioners advance the commercial fleet generation for emission models. This study also provides some sample datasets for state and local transportation/air quality agencies to test, which can reduce the estimation bias associated with using MOVES default fleets.
Laser Transport Vacuum Simulations and LED Atom Tracker
MAGIS-100 uses atom interferometry to measure the distance between the Sr atoms traversing the shaft. The laser must travel through vacuum to measure accurately. Project ensures the vacuum system has low enough pressure to meet experimental requirements.
Tracker Fits for shot 1s1674
Gas gun shock-to-detonation experiments provide data for calibrating HE burn models. At LANL the principal diagnostic is a magnetic gauge package that provides data on the lead shock trajectory, which is used to determine the run-distance to detonation, and the lead shock speed with run distance, which together with jump-off velocity of the velocity gauges determines Hugoniot locus points for the reactants.

A High Voltage Distribution System for the Mu2e Electron Tracker
This paper describes the design and development of a High Voltage distribution system (Smart Switch - SS) which distributes one input high voltage (HV) into six High Voltage channels (HVDS) of a straw detector plane. The SS independently sets, controls, and monitors the HV to each individual channel of a straw-detector plane in the Mu2E Electron Tracking Detector. Each straw plane is composed of three 120 deg crescent-shaped panels, and each panel is composed of 96 straw-tube detectors. Each output channel of the SS has independent, ON-OFF, current and HV monitoring, as well as filtration, isolation, and a crowbar to provide overcurrent protection for in that channel. The inter-communication system is based on TCP/IP protocol using a Raspberry Pi. The HVDS meets all required specifications including long term stability, accurate monitoring of the HV and current, and overcurrent trip. The performance of the HVDS was found to be comparable to, if not better than, commercial HV power supplies.

Survey of AC-LGADs for future 4D trackers with a proton beam
We will present the first beam test results with centimeter-scale AC-LGAD strip sensors, using the Fermilab Test Beam Facility, and a study of the performance of AC-LGAD sensors as a function of their thickness. Sensors of this type are envisioned for applications that require large-area precision 4D tracking coverage with economical channel counts, including timing layers for the Electron Ion Collider (EIC), and space-based particle experiments. Long strip sensors with sparse readout offer better cost and performance for applications where channel count or electrical power density is a constraint. Thanks to the excellent signal to noise ratio in AC-LGADs, sparse readout can be exploited without significant degradation of spatial or time resolution, which is demonstrated in our studies. A survey of sensor designs is presented, with the aim of optimizing the electrode geometry for spatial resolution and timing performance. We will present our studies of the sensor geometry optimizatio n to maintain the desirable sensor performance characteristics with increasingly larger electrodes.
