Materials Data on GdAg2 by Materials Project

GdAg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Gd is bonded in a distorted q6 geometry to ten equivalent Ag atoms. There are two shorter (3.08 Å) and eight longer (3.11 Å) Gd–Ag bond lengths. Ag is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Gd atoms.

Materials Data on GdAg3 by Materials Project

GdAg3 is beta Cu3Ti-like structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Gd is bonded to twelve equivalent Ag atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing GdAg12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.15 Å) and six longer (3.18 Å) Gd–Ag bond lengths. Ag is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Gd atoms.
