Materials Data on Na2CuAs by Materials Project

Na2CuAs crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded in a distorted see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent As3- atoms. There are a spread of Na–As bond distances ranging from 3.02–3.14 Å. Cu1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent As3- atoms. Both Cu–As bond lengths are 2.35 Å. As3- is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Na1+ and two equivalent Cu1+ atoms.
