Materials Data on BiBPbO4 by Materials Project

PbBiBO4 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. B3+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O2- atoms. There are a spread of B–O bond distances ranging from 1.38–1.40 Å. Pb2+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Pb–O bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.77 Å. Bi3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and edge-sharing BiO6 pentagonal pyramids. There are a spread of Bi–O bond distances ranging from 2.21–2.61 Å. There are four inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Pb2+ and two equivalent Bi3+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one B3+, one Pb2+, and one Bi3+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one B3+, one Pb2+, and one Bi3+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one B3+ and two equivalent Bi3+ atoms.

Materials Data on BiBPbO4 by Materials Project

PbBiBO4 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmce space group. The structure is three-dimensional. B3+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.38 Å) and two longer (1.40 Å) B–O bond length. Pb2+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Pb–O bond distances ranging from 2.33–3.04 Å. Bi3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing BiO6 pentagonal pyramids. There are a spread of Bi–O bond distances ranging from 2.22–2.57 Å. There are three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Pb2+ and two equivalent Bi3+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one B3+, two equivalent Pb2+, and two equivalent Bi3+ atoms. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one B3+, one Pb2+, and one Bi3+ atom.
