Materials Data on LiBe2Os by Materials Project
LiBe2Os crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiBe2Os ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Both Li–Be bond lengths are 2.56 Å. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Os atom. The Be–Os bond length is 2.11 Å. Os is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
