Materials Data on BeBPt2 by Materials Project
BePt2B crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BePt2B ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. Both Be–Pt bond lengths are 2.22 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one B atom. The Pt–B bond length is 1.88 Å. B is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms.
