Materials Data on BeH4SO4 by Materials Project

BeH4SO4 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mcm space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of four sulfuric acid molecules and four BeH4 clusters. In each BeH4 cluster, Be2+ is bonded in a rectangular see-saw-like geometry to four equivalent H1+ atoms. All Be–H bond lengths are 1.45 Å. H1+ is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Be2+ and one H1+ atom. The H–H bond length is 0.85 Å.
