Materials Data on CaLaGa2 by Materials Project
CaLaGa2 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CaLaGa2 ribbons oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Ca–Ga bond lengths are 3.05 Å. La is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both La–Ga bond lengths are 2.86 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ca and one La atom.
