Materials Data on Cd3C by Materials Project

Cd3C is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cd is bonded to four equivalent C atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and edge-sharing CdC4 cuboctahedra. All Cd–C bond lengths are 2.95 Å. C is bonded to twelve equivalent Cd atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing CCd12 cuboctahedra.
