Materials Data on CdPt by Materials Project
PtCd is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pt2- is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Cd2+ atoms. All Pt–Cd bond lengths are 2.89 Å. Cd2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms.
