Materials Data on Ce(CoGe)2 by Materials Project

CeCo2Ge2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Co and eight equivalent Ge atoms. All Ce–Co bond lengths are 3.21 Å. All Ce–Ge bond lengths are 3.17 Å. Co is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and four equivalent Ge atoms. All Co–Ge bond lengths are 2.35 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce, four equivalent Co, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.63 Å.

Materials Data on CeCoGe3 by Materials Project

CeCoGe3 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4mm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Co and twelve Ge atoms. There are one shorter (3.22 Å) and four longer (3.48 Å) Ce–Co bond lengths. There are a spread of Ce–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.11–3.35 Å. Co is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ce and five Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.28 Å) and four longer (2.33 Å) Co–Ge bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce, two equivalent Co, and two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.76 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce, one Co, and four equivalent Ge atoms.

Materials Data on CeCoGe by Materials Project

CeCoGe is Matlockite structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/nmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and five equivalent Ge atoms. All Ce–Co bond lengths are 2.91 Å. There are four shorter (3.05 Å) and one longer (3.25 Å) Ce–Ge bond lengths. Co is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ce and four equivalent Ge atoms. All Co–Ge bond lengths are 2.47 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ce and four equivalent Co atoms.

Materials Data on Ce3CoGe2 by Materials Project

Ce3CoGe2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Ce sites. In the first Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to one Co and five Ge atoms. The Ce–Co bond length is 2.91 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.98–3.28 Å. In the second Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Co and five Ge atoms. Both Ce–Co bond lengths are 2.81 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.00–3.48 Å. In the third Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Co and five Ge atoms. There are two shorter (2.98 Å) and one longer (3.04 Å) Ce–Co bond lengths. There are a spread of Ce–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.00–3.07 Å. Co is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Ce and three Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.51 Å) and two longer (2.54 Å) Co–Ge bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to seven Ce and two equivalent Co atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to eight Ce and one Co atom.

Materials Data on CeCo9Ge4 by Materials Project

CeCo9Ge4 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to sixteen Co and eight equivalent Ge atoms. There are eight shorter (3.23 Å) and eight longer (3.38 Å) Ce–Co bond lengths. All Ce–Ge bond lengths are 3.26 Å. There are three inequivalent Co sites. In the first Co site, Co is bonded in a cuboctahedral geometry to eight Co and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are four shorter (2.42 Å) and four longer (2.51 Å) Co–Co bond lengths. All Co–Ge bond lengths are 2.44 Å. In the second Co site, Co is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ce, six Co, and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Co–Co bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.61 Å. There are two shorter (2.53 Å) and two longer (2.60 Å) Co–Ge bond lengths. In the third Co site, Co is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ce, three Co, and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Co–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.45 Å. Ge is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ce and nine Co atoms.
