Materials Data on CeSbRh by Materials Project

CeRhSb crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Rh and six equivalent Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Rh bond distances ranging from 3.04–3.23 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Sb bond distances ranging from 3.26–3.46 Å. Rh is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ce, one Rh, and three equivalent Sb atoms. The Rh–Rh bond length is 2.81 Å. There are two shorter (2.66 Å) and one longer (2.81 Å) Rh–Sb bond lengths. Sb is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce, three equivalent Rh, and one Sb atom. The Sb–Sb bond length is 3.02 Å.
