Materials Data on TbCoGe by Materials Project

TbCoGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and six equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Tb–Co bond distances ranging from 2.89–2.99 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.98–3.18 Å. Co is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are three shorter (2.47 Å) and one longer (2.58 Å) Co–Ge bond lengths. Ge is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb and four equivalent Co atoms.

Materials Data on Tb2CoGe2 by Materials Project

Tb2CoGe2 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Tb sites. In the first Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Co and seven Ge atoms. There are one shorter (3.16 Å) and one longer (3.25 Å) Tb–Co bond lengths. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.89–3.11 Å. In the second Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and five Ge atoms. There are two shorter (2.88 Å) and two longer (3.15 Å) Tb–Co bond lengths. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.92–3.12 Å. Co is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six Tb, one Co, and three Ge atoms. The Co–Co bond length is 2.52 Å. There are two shorter (2.44 Å) and one longer (2.58 Å) Co–Ge bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Tb, two equivalent Co, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.62 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded to six Tb and one Co atom to form distorted edge-sharing GeTb6Co pentagonal bipyramids.

Materials Data on Tb(CoGe)2 by Materials Project

TbCo2Ge2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Co and eight equivalent Ge atoms. All Tb–Co bond lengths are 3.22 Å. All Tb–Ge bond lengths are 3.09 Å. Co is bonded to four equivalent Tb and four equivalent Ge atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing CoTb4Ge4 tetrahedra. All Co–Ge bond lengths are 2.34 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb, four equivalent Co, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.60 Å.

Materials Data on Tb2Co3Ge5 by Materials Project

Tb2Co3Ge5 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to ten Ge atoms. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.89–3.22 Å. There are two inequivalent Co sites. In the first Co site, Co is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Co–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.31–2.42 Å. In the second Co site, Co is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six Ge atoms. There are a spread of Co–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.41–2.69 Å. There are four inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and four equivalent Co atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb, three Co, and two Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.65 Å) and one longer (2.66 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb, three Co, and four Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.87 Å. In the fourth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb, three Co, and four Ge atoms.

Materials Data on Tb3Co2Ge3 by Materials Project

Tb3Co2Ge3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Tb sites. In the first Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and seven Ge atoms. There are a spread of Tb–Co bond distances ranging from 3.02–3.16 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.99–3.22 Å. In the second Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Co and five Ge atoms. All Tb–Co bond lengths are 3.11 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.94–3.21 Å. Co is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six Tb and four Ge atoms. There are a spread of Co–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.38–2.56 Å. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to seven Tb and two equivalent Co atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six Tb, three equivalent Co, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.92 Å.

There are a spread of Co–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.26–2.38 Å. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb, one Co, and two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.57 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and four equivalent Co atoms.
