Materials Data on Cs2HgAu by Materials Project

Cs2AuHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Cs2AuHg ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Cs is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Hg atom. The Cs–Au bond length is 3.35 Å. The Cs–Hg bond length is 4.12 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cs atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cs atoms.
