Materials Data on Eu(NiGe)2 by Materials Project

EuNi2Ge2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Ni and eight equivalent Ge atoms. All Eu–Ni bond lengths are 3.26 Å. All Eu–Ge bond lengths are 3.22 Å. Ni is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Eu and four equivalent Ge atoms. All Ni–Ge bond lengths are 2.38 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Eu, four equivalent Ni, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.70 Å.

Materials Data on EuNiGe by Materials Project

EuNiGe crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni and six equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Eu–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.87–3.20 Å. There are a spread of Eu–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.19–3.42 Å. Ni is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Eu, one Ni, and three equivalent Ge atoms. The Ni–Ni bond length is 2.59 Å. There are a spread of Ni–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.32–2.36 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Eu and three equivalent Ni atoms.

Materials Data on EuNiGe3 by Materials Project

EuNiGe3 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4mm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ni and twelve Ge atoms. There are four shorter (3.44 Å) and one longer (3.45 Å) Eu–Ni bond lengths. There are a spread of Eu–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.19–3.33 Å. Ni is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Eu and five Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.35 Å) and four longer (2.39 Å) Ni–Ge bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Eu, two equivalent Ni, and two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.73 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Eu, one Ni, and four equivalent Ge atoms.

Materials Data on EuNi9Ge4 by Materials Project

EuNi9Ge4 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to sixteen Ni and eight equivalent Ge atoms. There are eight shorter (3.43 Å) and eight longer (3.48 Å) Eu–Ni bond lengths. All Eu–Ge bond lengths are 3.40 Å. There are three inequivalent Ni sites. In the first Ni site, Ni is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Eu, six Ni, and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.43–2.66 Å. There are two shorter (2.55 Å) and two longer (2.59 Å) Ni–Ge bond lengths. In the second Ni site, Ni is bonded in a cuboctahedral geometry to eight Ni and four equivalent Ge atoms. All Ni–Ni bond lengths are 2.45 Å. All Ni–Ge bond lengths are 2.43 Å. In the third Ni site, Ni is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Eu, eight Ni, and two equivalent Ge atoms. There are two shorter (2.49 Å) and one longer (2.72 Å) Ni–Ni bond lengths. Both Ni–Ge bond lengths are 2.52 Å. Ge is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Eu, seven Ni, and three equivalent Ge atoms. There are two shorter (2.68 Å) and one longer (2.70 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths.
