Materials Data on LaEuPt2 by Materials Project
EuLaPt2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Eu–Pt bond lengths are 3.15 Å. La2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All La–Pt bond lengths are 3.15 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Eu2+ and four equivalent La2+ atoms.
