EuPd2 is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Pd atoms. All Eu–Pd bond lengths are 3.25 Å. Pd is bonded to six equivalent Eu and six equivalent Pd atoms to form a mixture of edge, face, and corner-sharing PdEu6Pd6 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.77 Å.
EuPd3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded to twelve equivalent Pd atoms to form a mixture of corner and face-sharing EuPd12 cuboctahedra. All Eu–Pd bond lengths are 2.96 Å. Pd is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Eu atoms.
EuPd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Pd atoms. There are a spread of Eu–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.15–3.22 Å. Pd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Eu and two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.86 Å.
