Materials Data on Na2PO3F by Materials Project

Na2PO3F crystallizes in the orthorhombic P2_12_12_1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are four inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to seven O2- and one F1- atom. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.42–3.02 Å. The Na–F bond length is 2.32 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to five O2- and one F1- atom. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.32–2.73 Å. The Na–F bond length is 2.33 Å. In the third Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to five O2- and one F1- atom. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.40–2.64 Å. The Na–F bond length is 2.68 Å. In the fourth Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted NaO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO3F tetrahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.30–2.61 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to three O2- and one F1- atom to form PO3F tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent NaO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 44–68°. All P–O bond lengths are 1.52 Å. The P–F bond length is 1.66 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to three O2- and one F1- atom to form PO3F tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent NaO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 16–40°. There is two shorter (1.52 Å) and one longer (1.53 Å) P–O bond length. The P–F bond length is 1.64 Å. There are six inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to five Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to five Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted tetrahedral geometry to three Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to three Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted rectangular see-saw-like geometry to three Na1+ and one P5+ atom. There are two inequivalent F1- sites. In the first F1- site, F1- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the second F1- site, F1- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Na1+ and one P5+ atom.

Materials Data on NaPOF6 by Materials Project

NaPOF6 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na is bonded to two equivalent O and four equivalent F atoms to form NaO2F4 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent NaO2F4 octahedra and corners with four equivalent PF6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 37–63°. Both Na–O bond lengths are 2.58 Å. All Na–F bond lengths are 2.29 Å. P is bonded to six F atoms to form PF6 octahedra that share corners with four equivalent NaO2F4 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 37°. There is two shorter (1.62 Å) and four longer (1.65 Å) P–F bond length. O is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to two equivalent Na atoms. There are two inequivalent F sites. In the first F site, F is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one P atom. In the second F site, F is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Na and one P atom.
