Materials Data on TiGaNi by Materials Project

TiNiGa crystallizes in the hexagonal P-62m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ti is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to five Ni and six equivalent Ga atoms. There are four shorter (2.62 Å) and one longer (2.67 Å) Ti–Ni bond lengths. There are two shorter (2.76 Å) and four longer (2.84 Å) Ti–Ga bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Ni sites. In the first Ni site, Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Ti and six equivalent Ga atoms. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.44 Å. In the second Ni site, Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ti and three equivalent Ga atoms. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.50 Å. Ga is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ti and four Ni atoms.

Materials Data on TiGaNi2 by Materials Project

Ni2TiGa is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ti is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ni and six equivalent Ga atoms. All Ti–Ni bond lengths are 2.55 Å. All Ti–Ga bond lengths are 2.94 Å. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Ti and four equivalent Ga atoms. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Ga is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to six equivalent Ti and eight equivalent Ni atoms.

Materials Data on Ti4Ga3Ni2 by Materials Project

Ti4Ni2Ga3 is gamma-brass-derived structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P-62m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Ti sites. In the first Ti site, Ti is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to three Ti, four equivalent Ni, and six equivalent Ga atoms. There are one shorter (2.69 Å) and two longer (2.82 Å) Ti–Ti bond lengths. All Ti–Ni bond lengths are 2.72 Å. There are two shorter (2.73 Å) and four longer (2.88 Å) Ti–Ga bond lengths. In the second Ti site, Ti is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to three Ti, four equivalent Ni, and six equivalent Ga atoms. The Ti–Ti bond length is 2.69 Å. All Ti–Ni bond lengths are 2.72 Å. There are two shorter (2.73 Å) and four longer (2.88 Å) Ti–Ga bond lengths. In the third Ti site, Ti is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to five Ti and six equivalent Ga atoms. Both Ti–Ti bond lengths are 2.82 Å. All Ti–Ga bond lengths are 2.70 Å. Ni is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to six Ti, two equivalent Ni, and three equivalent Ga atoms. There are one shorter (2.81 Å) and one longer (2.83 Å) Ni–Ni bond lengths. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.52 Å. Ga is bonded to eight Ti, two equivalent Ni, and two equivalent Ga atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing GaTi8Ga2Ni2 cuboctahedra. Both Ga–Ga bond lengths are 2.82 Å.

Materials Data on TiGa5Ni by Materials Project

TiNiGa5 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ti is bonded to twelve Ga atoms to form distorted TiGa12 cuboctahedra that share corners with four equivalent TiGa12 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent TiGa12 cuboctahedra, and faces with four equivalent GaTi4Ga8 cuboctahedra. There are eight shorter (2.80 Å) and four longer (2.93 Å) Ti–Ga bond lengths. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight Ga atoms. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.46 Å. There are three inequivalent Ga sites. In the first Ga site, Ga is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ti, two equivalent Ni, and seven Ga atoms. There are a spread of Ga–Ga bond distances ranging from 2.65–2.93 Å. In the second Ga site, Ga is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ti, two equivalent Ni, and seven Ga atoms. There are one shorter (2.65 Å) and two longer (2.80 Å) Ga–Ga bond lengths. In the third Ga site, Ga is bonded to four equivalent Ti and eight Ga atoms to form GaTi4Ga8 cuboctahedra that share corners with four equivalent GaTi4Ga8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent TiGa12 cuboctahedra, and faces with four equivalent GaTi4Ga8 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on TiGaNi6 by Materials Project

TiNi6Ga is beta Cu3Ti-derived structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ti is bonded to twelve Ni atoms to form TiNi12 cuboctahedra that share corners with four equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, corners with eight equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra, faces with two equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve NiTi4Ni8 cuboctahedra. There are eight shorter (2.53 Å) and four longer (2.54 Å) Ti–Ni bond lengths. There are three inequivalent Ni sites. In the first Ni site, Ni is bonded to eight equivalent Ni and four equivalent Ga atoms to form NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent NiTi2Ga2Ni8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra. All Ni–Ni bond lengths are 2.53 Å. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.54 Å. In the second Ni site, Ni is bonded to four equivalent Ti and eight equivalent Ni atoms to form NiTi4Ni8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent NiTi2Ga2Ni8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra. All Ni–Ni bond lengths are 2.53 Å. In the third Ni site, Ni is bonded to two equivalent Ti, eight Ni, and two equivalent Ga atoms to form distorted NiTi2Ga2Ni8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NiTi2Ga2Ni8 cuboctahedra, edges with four equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, edges with four equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra, faces with two equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, faces with two equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra. All Ni–Ni bond lengths are 2.54 Å. Both Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.53 Å. Ga is bonded to twelve Ni atoms to form GaNi12 cuboctahedra that share corners with four equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, corners with eight equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four NiTi4Ni8 cuboctahedra, faces with two equivalent TiNi12 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent GaNi12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve NiGa4Ni8 cuboctahedra.
