TbNiGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ni and six equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Tb–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.92–3.18 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.96–3.09 Å. Ni is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.46–2.72 Å. Ge is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb and four equivalent Ni atoms.

Materials Data on Tb(NiGe)2 by Materials Project

TbNi2Ge2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Ni and eight equivalent Ge atoms. All Tb–Ni bond lengths are 3.19 Å. All Tb–Ge bond lengths are 3.15 Å. Ni is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and four equivalent Ge atoms. All Ni–Ge bond lengths are 2.36 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb, four equivalent Ni, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.53 Å.

Materials Data on TbNiGe2 by Materials Project

TbNiGe2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni and ten Ge atoms. All Tb–Ni bond lengths are 3.18 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.12–3.24 Å. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.30–2.39 Å. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb, one Ni, and two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.52 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and four equivalent Ni atoms.

TbNiGe3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Amm2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Tb sites. In the first Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni and ten Ge atoms. All Tb–Ni bond lengths are 3.16 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.08–3.21 Å. In the second Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ni and ten Ge atoms. All Tb–Ni bond lengths are 3.16 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.08–3.21 Å. There are two inequivalent Ni sites. In the first Ni site, Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.29–2.36 Å. In the second Ni site, Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.29–2.36 Å. There are six inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Tb, two equivalent Ni, and five Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.48 Å) and four longer (2.90 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Tb, two equivalent Ni, and five Ge atoms. All Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.90 Å. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six Tb, one Ni, and two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.50 Å. In the fourth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six Tb, one Ni, and two equivalent Ge atoms. In the fifth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Tb, two equivalent Ni, and five Ge atoms. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.49 Å. In the sixth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Tb, two equivalent Ni, and five Ge atoms.

Materials Data on Tb3NiGe2 by Materials Project

Tb3NiGe2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Tb sites. In the first Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Ni and five Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.91 Å) and two longer (2.98 Å) Tb–Ni bond lengths. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.99–3.07 Å. In the second Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to one Ni and five Ge atoms. The Tb–Ni bond length is 2.87 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.98–3.19 Å. In the third Tb site, Tb is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ni and five Ge atoms. Both Tb–Ni bond lengths are 2.83 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.98–3.57 Å. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Tb and three Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.51 Å) and two longer (2.52 Å) Ni–Ge bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to seven Tb and two equivalent Ni atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to eight Tb and one Ni atom.

There are a spread of Tb–Ni bond distances ranging from 2.97–3.24 Å. There are a spread of Tb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.00–3.21 Å. Ni is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb, one Ni, and three equivalent Ge atoms. The Ni–Ni bond length is 2.72 Å. There are two shorter (2.42 Å) and one longer (2.64 Å) Ni–Ge bond lengths. Ge is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb, three equivalent Ni, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.77 Å.
