Materials Data on Na2PHO3 by Materials Project

Na2PHO3 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted NaO6 square pyramids that share corners with two equivalent NaO6 square pyramids, corners with four equivalent PHO3 tetrahedra, edges with two equivalent NaO6 square pyramids, and an edgeedge with one PHO3 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.40–2.95 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.35–2.72 Å. P5+ is bonded to one H1- and three O2- atoms to form distorted PHO3 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent NaO6 square pyramids and an edgeedge with one NaO6 square pyramid. The P–H bond length is 1.42 Å. There is one shorter (1.54 Å) and two longer (1.55 Å) P–O bond length. H1- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one P5+ atom. There are three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to four Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded to three Na1+ and one P5+ atom to form distorted corner-sharing ONa3P trigonal pyramids.

Na2PH3O5 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form NaO6 octahedra that share corners with four equivalent PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one NaO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.36–2.60 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.32–2.62 Å. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent NaO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 39–63°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.64 Å. There are three inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (1.01 Å) and one longer (1.67 Å) H–O bond length. In the second H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to two O2- atoms. There is one shorter (0.99 Å) and one longer (1.75 Å) H–O bond length. In the third H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The H–O bond length is 0.99 Å. There are five inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to three Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two Na1+, one P5+, and two H1+ atoms. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two Na1+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Na1+ and one P+4.50+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Na1+ and one P+4.50+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to two equivalent Na1+ and two H+0.50+ atoms. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted water-like geometry to three Na1+ and two H+0.50+ atoms.

NaH2PO4 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted NaO5 square pyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra, an edgeedge with one NaO6 octahedra, and an edgeedge with one NaO5 square pyramid. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.29–2.51 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form NaO6 octahedra that share corners with two PO4 tetrahedra, edges with two equivalent NaO6 octahedra, and an edgeedge with one NaO5 square pyramid. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.42–2.53 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of four phosphoric acid molecules and two Na2(H2O)7 ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. In each Na2(H2O)7 ribbon, there are two inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing NaO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.35–2.48 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing NaO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.35–2.48 Å. There are fourteen inequivalent H1+ sites. In the first H1+ site, H1+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one O2- atom. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one Na2PH11O8 sheet oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. there are two inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.31–2.48 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form NaO6 octahedra that share a cornercorner with one PHO3 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.41–2.50 Å. P5+ is bonded to one H+0.82+ and three O2- atoms to form distorted PHO3 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one NaO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 71°. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.57 Å. There are three inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four NaO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 36–57°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.50–1.63 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four NaO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra.
