Materials Data on YbHgPd2 by Materials Project
YbPd2Hg is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd and six equivalent Hg atoms. All Yb–Pd bond lengths are 2.91 Å. All Yb–Hg bond lengths are 3.36 Å. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Yb and four equivalent Hg atoms. All Pd–Hg bond lengths are 2.91 Å. Hg is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Yb and eight equivalent Pd atoms.
