Materials Data on TbHg by Materials Project

TbHg is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Hg atoms. All Tb–Hg bond lengths are 3.24 Å. Hg is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Tb atoms.

Materials Data on TbHg3 by Materials Project

TbHg3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded to twelve equivalent Hg atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing TbHg12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.17 Å) and six longer (3.33 Å) Tb–Hg bond lengths. Hg is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Tb atoms.

Materials Data on TbHg2 by Materials Project

TbHg2 crystallizes in the trigonal P-3m1 space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one TbHg2 sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Tb is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Hg atoms. All Tb–Hg bond lengths are 3.11 Å. Hg is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Tb atoms.

Materials Data on Tb3Hg by Materials Project

Tb3Hg is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Hg atoms. All Tb–Hg bond lengths are 3.41 Å. Hg is bonded to twelve equivalent Tb atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing HgTb12 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on TbHg2 by Materials Project

TbHg2 crystallizes in the trigonal P-3m1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tb is bonded to twelve equivalent Hg atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and face-sharing TbHg12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.33 Å) and six longer (3.38 Å) Tb–Hg bond lengths. Hg is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tb and three equivalent Hg atoms. All Hg–Hg bond lengths are 2.87 Å.
