Materials Data on Ho2Ni2Pb by Materials Project

Ho2Ni2Pb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ho is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ni and four equivalent Pb atoms. There are four shorter (2.83 Å) and two longer (2.93 Å) Ho–Ni bond lengths. All Ho–Pb bond lengths are 3.36 Å. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ho, two equivalent Ni, and one Pb atom. Both Ni–Ni bond lengths are 2.41 Å. The Ni–Pb bond length is 2.87 Å. Pb is bonded in a distorted q6 geometry to eight equivalent Ho and two equivalent Ni atoms.

Materials Data on Ho5NiPb3 by Materials Project

Ho5NiPb3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Ho sites. In the first Ho site, Ho is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ni and five equivalent Pb atoms. Both Ho–Ni bond lengths are 2.74 Å. There are a spread of Ho–Pb bond distances ranging from 3.18–3.66 Å. In the second Ho site, Ho is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pb atoms. All Ho–Pb bond lengths are 3.25 Å. Ni is bonded to six equivalent Ho atoms to form face-sharing NiHo6 octahedra. Pb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Ho atoms.
