Materials Data on KTl3 by Materials Project
KTl3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. K is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Tl atoms. There are six shorter (3.73 Å) and six longer (3.97 Å) K–Tl bond lengths. Tl is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent K and six equivalent Tl atoms. There are four shorter (3.34 Å) and two longer (3.43 Å) Tl–Tl bond lengths.
