Materials Data on Li5ReO6 by Materials Project

Li5ReO6 is Caswellsilverite-like structured and crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form LiO6 octahedra that share corners with six LiO6 octahedra, edges with three equivalent ReO6 octahedra, and edges with nine LiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 9–11°. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.08–2.11 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form LiO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent ReO6 octahedra, corners with four equivalent LiO6 octahedra, edges with two equivalent ReO6 octahedra, and edges with ten LiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 0–9°. There are four shorter (2.07 Å) and two longer (2.28 Å) Li–O bond lengths. In the third Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form LiO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent ReO6 octahedra, corners with four equivalent LiO6 octahedra, edges with two equivalent ReO6 octahedra, and edges with ten LiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 1–11°. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.09–2.17 Å. Re7+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form ReO6 octahedra that share corners with six LiO6 octahedra and edges with twelve LiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 0–1°. There is two shorter (1.90 Å) and four longer (1.91 Å) Re–O bond length. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded to five Li1+ and one Re7+ atom to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing OLi5Re octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 0–11°. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded to five Li1+ and one Re7+ atom to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing OLi5Re octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 0–7°.

Materials Data on LiReO4 by Materials Project

LiReO4 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form LiO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with five ReO4 tetrahedra and edges with two LiO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.04–2.21 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form LiO6 octahedra that share corners with six ReO4 tetrahedra, an edgeedge with one LiO6 octahedra, and an edgeedge with one LiO5 trigonal bipyramid. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.07–2.36 Å. In the third Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form LiO6 octahedra that share corners with six ReO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one LiO5 trigonal bipyramid. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.09–2.31 Å. There are three inequivalent Re7+ sites. In the first Re7+ site, Re7+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form ReO4 tetrahedra that share corners with five LiO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one LiO5 trigonal bipyramid. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 27–60°. There are a spread of Re–O bond distances ranging from 1.74–1.77 Å. In the second Re7+ site, Re7+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form ReO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four LiO6 octahedra and corners with two equivalent LiO5 trigonal bipyramids. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 15–56°. There are a spread of Re–O bond distances ranging from 1.74–1.77 Å. In the third Re7+ site, Re7+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form ReO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three LiO6 octahedra and corners with two equivalent LiO5 trigonal bipyramids. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 13–52°. There is three shorter (1.75 Å) and one longer (1.77 Å) Re–O bond length. There are twelve inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to two Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to two Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the eighth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the ninth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the tenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the eleventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom. In the twelfth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Li1+ and one Re7+ atom.

Materials Data on Li2ReO3 by Materials Project

Li2ReO3 is Caswellsilverite-like structured and crystallizes in the trigonal R-3c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li1+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form LiO6 octahedra that share corners with three equivalent ReO6 octahedra, corners with nine equivalent LiO6 octahedra, edges with three equivalent LiO6 octahedra, edges with three equivalent ReO6 octahedra, a faceface with one LiO6 octahedra, and a faceface with one ReO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 39–51°. There are three shorter (2.11 Å) and three longer (2.12 Å) Li–O bond lengths. Re4+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form ReO6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent LiO6 octahedra, corners with six equivalent ReO6 octahedra, edges with six equivalent LiO6 octahedra, and faces with two equivalent LiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 41–51°. All Re–O bond lengths are 2.04 Å. O2- is bonded to four equivalent Li1+ and two equivalent Re4+ atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge and corner-sharing OLi4Re2 pentagonal pyramids.

Materials Data on LiReO3 by Materials Project

LiReO3 is Ilmenite-like structured and crystallizes in the trigonal R3c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent O2- atoms. There are three shorter (2.06 Å) and three longer (2.36 Å) Li–O bond lengths. Re5+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form corner-sharing ReO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 35°. There is three shorter (1.94 Å) and three longer (1.97 Å) Re–O bond length. O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Li1+ and two equivalent Re5+ atoms.

Materials Data on LiReO5 by Materials Project

LiReO5 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one LiReO5 sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Li is bonded to five O atoms to form distorted LiO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with three equivalent ReO4 tetrahedra and edges with two equivalent LiO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.96–2.20 Å. Re is bonded to four O atoms to form ReO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent LiO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of Re–O bond distances ranging from 1.73–1.79 Å. There are five inequivalent O sites. In the first O site, O is bonded in a water-like geometry to two equivalent Li atoms. In the second O site, O is bonded in a distorted trigonal non-coplanar geometry to two equivalent Li and one Re atom. In the third O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Re atom. In the fourth O site, O is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Li and one Re atom. In the fifth O site, O is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Re atom.
