Materials Data on LuAu2 by Materials Project
Au2Lu crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Lu is bonded in a distorted q6 geometry to ten equivalent Au atoms. There are eight shorter (2.99 Å) and two longer (3.04 Å) Lu–Au bond lengths. Au is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Lu atoms.
