Materials Data on MgCo2Sn by Materials Project
MgCo2Sn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two MgCo2Sn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Mg–Co bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Sn atom. The Co–Sn bond length is 2.44 Å. Sn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms.
