Materials Data on Mo2P3O11 by Materials Project

Mo2P3O11 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Mo+3.50+ sites. In the first Mo+3.50+ site, Mo+3.50+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MoO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one MoO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 2.06–2.27 Å. In the second Mo+3.50+ site, Mo+3.50+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MoO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one MoO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.95–2.23 Å. There are four inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 45–56°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.62 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 47–52°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.50–1.61 Å. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MoO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 26–32°. There is two shorter (1.51 Å) and two longer (1.57 Å) P–O bond length. In the fourth P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MoO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 21–33°. There is two shorter (1.52 Å) and two longer (1.56 Å) P–O bond length. There are twelve inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mo+3.50+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mo+3.50+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to two equivalent P5+ atoms. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to two equivalent P5+ atoms. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Mo+3.50+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo+3.50+ and one P5+ atom. Mo3(PO4)4 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Mo4+ sites. In the first Mo4+ site, Mo4+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted MoO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.97–2.09 Å. In the second Mo4+ site, Mo4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MoO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 2.01–2.19 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MoO6 octahedra and corners with two equivalent MoO5 trigonal bipyramids. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 27–51°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.53–1.56 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MoO6 octahedra and corners with three equivalent MoO5 trigonal bipyramids. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 43°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.58 Å. There are eight inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. Materials Data on MoPO5 by Materials Project

MoOPO4 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/n space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one MoOPO4 sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Mo5+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted MoO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with four equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. There is one shorter (1.70 Å) and four longer (2.01 Å) Mo–O bond length. P5+ is bonded to four equivalent O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent MoO5 trigonal bipyramids. All P–O bond lengths are 1.54 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Mo5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo5+ and one P5+ atom.

Materials Data on MoP2O7 by Materials Project

MoP2O7 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mo4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MoO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one MoO6 octahedra. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.99–2.22 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 35–46°. There is three shorter (1.53 Å) and one longer (1.59 Å) P–O bond length. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 35–58°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.62 Å. There are seven inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to two equivalent Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom.

MoP4O13 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of two MoP4O13 sheets oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Mo6+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MoO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.91–1.97 Å. There are four inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 39–41°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.62 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MoO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 38°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.45–1.62 Å. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MoO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 41°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.45–1.62 Å. In the fourth P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 37°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.64 Å. There are thirteen inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo6+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one P5+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo6+ and one P5+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo6+ and one P5+ atom. In the eighth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one P5+ atom. In the ninth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo6+ and one P5+ atom. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MoO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 11–46°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.50–1.59 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MoO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 52°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.62 Å. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent MoO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 21–50°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.61 Å. In the fourth P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MoO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 18°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.46–1.64 Å. There are twelve inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one Mo4+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one P5+ atom. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 40–44°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.58 Å. In the second P site, P is bonded to four O atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four MoO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 42–44°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.58 Å. In the third P site, P is bonded to four O atoms to form distorted PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two MoO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 26–41°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.60 Å. There are fourteen inequivalent O sites. In the first O site, O is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo and one P atom. In the second O site, O is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo and one P atom. In the third O site, O is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo and one P atom. In the fourth O site, O is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo and one P atom. In the fifth O site, O is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo and one P atom. In the sixth O site, O is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Mo and one P atom. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 32°. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.75–2.24 Å. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent MoO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 29–43°. In the first Mo6+ site, Mo6+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form MoO6 octahedra that share corners with two equivalent MoO6 octahedra and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 13°. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.70–2.15 Å. In the second Mo6+ site, Mo6+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Mo–O bond distances ranging from 1.70–2.40 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one MoO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 16°.
