Materials Data on Na11N7O16 by Materials Project

(Na11(N3O8)2)2N2 crystallizes in the triclinic P1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional and consists of one ammonia molecule and one Na11(N3O8)2 framework. In the Na11(N3O8)2 framework, there are eleven inequivalent Na1+ sites. In the first Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.25–2.68 Å. In the second Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.31–2.87 Å. In the third Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.13–2.74 Å. In the fourth Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.14–2.46 Å. In the fifth Na1+ site, Na1+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four O2- atoms.
