Materials Data on Na3SbO3 by Materials Project
Na3SbO3 crystallizes in the cubic I-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na1+ is bonded to five equivalent O2- atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing NaO5 square pyramids. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.42–2.47 Å. Sb3+ is bonded in a distorted trigonal non-coplanar geometry to three equivalent O2- atoms. All Sb–O bond lengths are 1.99 Å. O2- is bonded to five equivalent Na1+ and one Sb3+ atom to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing ONa5Sb octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 18°.
