Materials Data on NaNd3 by Materials Project
NaNd3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Na is bonded to twelve equivalent Nd atoms to form NaNd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NaNd12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent NdNa4Nd8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent NaNd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent NdNa4Nd8 cuboctahedra. All Na–Nd bond lengths are 3.66 Å. Nd is bonded to four equivalent Na and eight equivalent Nd atoms to form NdNa4Nd8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent NdNa4Nd8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent NaNd12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent NdNa4Nd8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent NaNd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent NdNa4Nd8 cuboctahedra. All Nd–Nd bond lengths are 3.66 Å.
