Materials Data on NbIr by Materials Project
IrNb is Tetraauricupride structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nb is bonded to eight equivalent Ir atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, corner, and face-sharing NbIr8 cuboctahedra. All Nb–Ir bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Ir is bonded to eight equivalent Nb atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, corner, and face-sharing IrNb8 cuboctahedra.
