Materials Data on TcNi by Materials Project
TcNi crystallizes in the hexagonal P-6m2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tc3- is bonded to six equivalent Tc3- and six equivalent Ni3+ atoms to form a mixture of edge, face, and corner-sharing TcTc6Ni6 cuboctahedra. All Tc–Tc bond lengths are 2.65 Å. All Tc–Ni bond lengths are 2.60 Å. Ni3+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tc3- atoms.
