Materials Data on PmZn3 by Materials Project
PmZn3 crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pm is bonded to twelve equivalent Zn atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing PmZn12 cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (3.05 Å) and six longer (3.23 Å) Pm–Zn bond lengths. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pm and six equivalent Zn atoms. There are four shorter (2.76 Å) and two longer (2.82 Å) Zn–Zn bond lengths.
