Materials Data on Sc2OsPt by Materials Project
Sc2OsPt is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sc2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Os2- and four equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Sc–Os bond lengths are 2.82 Å. All Sc–Pt bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Os2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Sc2+ atoms. Pt2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Sc2+ atoms.
