Materials Data on ScAg2 by Materials Project
Ag2Sc is Titanium Disilicide-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Sc is bonded in a distorted q6 geometry to ten equivalent Ag atoms. There are eight shorter (2.93 Å) and two longer (3.00 Å) Sc–Ag bond lengths. Ag is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Sc and five equivalent Ag atoms. There are four shorter (2.95 Å) and one longer (2.97 Å) Ag–Ag bond lengths.
