Materials Data on TaTc2Sn by Materials Project
TaTc2Sn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two TaTc2Sn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ta4+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc3- atoms. Both Ta–Tc bond lengths are 2.22 Å. Tc3- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ta4+ and one Sn2+ atom. The Tc–Sn bond length is 2.61 Å. Sn2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc3- atoms.
