Materials Data on U2Cl2O by Materials Project
U2OCl2 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of one U2OCl2 cluster. U is bonded in a linear geometry to one O and one Cl atom. The U–O bond length is 2.06 Å. The U–Cl bond length is 2.46 Å. O is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent U atoms. Cl is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one U atom.
