Materials Data on YbSeI by Materials Project
YbISe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pmmm space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of two selenium molecules and two YbI clusters. In each YbI cluster, Yb3+ is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one I1- atom. The Yb–I bond length is 2.80 Å. I1- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Yb3+ atom.
