Regulation of Transpiration and Whole‐Tree Crown Conductance in Tropical Forests

We found a consistent, emergent relationship between tropical tree crown conductance and its sensitivity to vapour pressure deficit across diverse species and sites. This reveals convergent stomatal–hydraulic regulation alongside distinct drought sensitivities among plant functional types.
