Optical profilometer
Abstract
Device, consisting of optical scanning subsystem, two light detectors with associated amolifiers, analog divider, and adjustable nonlinear function generator, directly determines surface area, absolute depth, and point-to-point distance of three-dimensional object without physical contact with surface under observation.
