Optically coupling tunable diode lasers

Abstract

Proposed opticle coupling, using lenses and mirrors that replace complex mechanical systems, can combine separate tunable diode laser outputs and expand wavelength range. Method uses single cooler housing and requires no moving parts within cooler assembly.
