Monitoring Lignin Content in Paper Processing
Abstract
Feedstock and finished pulp analyzed and controlled automatically. System acquires samples from feed hopper, digestor, and blow tank. Sample homogenized, washed, and dried while conveyed to flash pyrolyzer. In pyrolyzer material converted into basic constituent, mostly compounds of molecular weight less than 200.
