Spectrum-Imaging Detector Array With Integrated Filter

Abstract

Proposed rectangular array of photodetectors in imaging spectrometer includes integral filter deposited directly on imaging array which would not become misaligned or misregistered as result of mechanical shock, vibration, or differential thermal expansion. Need for precise alignment and registration of filter cannot be over-emphasized.
