Complex-Amplitude Spatial Light Modulators
Abstract
Spatial light modulators (SLMs) of proposed type provide independent control over both phase and amplitude of electromagnetic field of modulated light. Useful in optical processing of information in which it is essential to control complex amplitude as function of time and of position in correlation plane.
