To understand and develop models for silicon photovoltaic module degradation, accelerated testing is often used, however, outdoor field testing is necessary for validation. Outdoor field testing publications are often limited by the lack of a pristine, control module to compare the fielded module to. In this work, commercially available modules were purchased from seven different manufacturers for outdoor fielding then destructive characterization to investigate packaging material degradation on
Benchmark calculations were performed for Turkey Point Unit 3 cycles 1–3 to validate the SCALE 6.3/Polaris–PARCS v3.4.2 code with the ENDF/B–VII.1 56–group library by comparing the simulated results with the measured data. Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and Realta Fusion successfully executed a one-year collaborative effort to deploy the Portable Diagnostic Package (PDP) on the Wisconsin HTS Axisymmetric Mirror (WHAM) and to assess future diagnostic needs. The PDP consists of an optical emission spectroscopy (OES) subsystem and a Thomson scattering (TS) subsystem. Within the first two months, the PDP OES subsystem was installed, integrated with WHAM timing, and handed over to trained Realta personnel. It immediately delivered multi-channel impurity surveys and the first spatially resolved plasma-rotation profiles inferred from C III Doppler shifts. The TS subsystem was commissioned within the first six months; transportation of the class IV laser system, approval of the safety plan, and the integration with WHAM timing with 100 ns resolution. The TS subsystem provided the first localized electron temperature measurements in WHAM commissioning shots. Leveraging these results, the team has discussed a diagnostic concept map for Realta’s next-step facility, Anvil, identifying line-of-sight constraints, required temporal resolution, and hardware upgrades.

The purpose of this document is to define the process for validation and verification (V&V) of software used to test the thermal data acquisition equipment in the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Package Testing Program (PTP) as part of the testing configuration(s). This process adheres to all applicable ORNL Standards Based Management System requirements and correlates with the PTP Quality Management System and the Software Quality Assurance Plan.
Neural Architecture Search is a powerful approach for automating model design, but existing methods struggle to accurately optimize for real hardware performance, often relying on proxy metrics such as bit operations. We present Surrogate Neural Architecture Codesign Package (SNAC-Pack), an integrated framework that automates the discovery and optimization of neural networks focusing on FPGA deployment.
We present a novel quantum transduction package that integrates a macroscopic electro-optic crystal into a compact, monolithic assembly designed for superconducting quantum processors. The device provides an efficient and scalable interface between microwave and optical domains while preserving cryogenic compatibility. We performed full-wave and quantum dynamical simulations to assess the performance of the hybrid system, focusing on the interaction between a transmon-based microwave cavity and the crystal’s and cavity low-frequency microwave mode. The transmon operates both as an ancilla for the QPU and as a nonlinear element enabling four-wave mixing between cavity and electro-optic crystal microwave fields. Our results indicate that this architecture can coherently mediate quantum information transfer from the cavity to the electro-optic mode, offering a promising platform for on-chip quantum transduction within superconducting quantum networks.

We present the status of a joint search for muon neutrino disappearance in the Booster Neutrino Beam at Fermilab using the Short-Baseline Neutrino (SBN) Program's two-detector configuration, SBND and ICARUS. Charged-current interactions consistent with muon neutrinos and containing only a muon and at least one proton in the final state are reconstructed and selected using the SPINE deep learning-based particle reconstruction package. To exploit proton multiplicity information and enhance sensitivity to modeling effects, the selected sample is partitioned into exclusive channels with exactly one reconstructed proton and with more than one reconstructed proton. Comprehensive systematic uncertainties from the neutrino flux, interaction, and detector response are incorporated into the analysis, and the coverage of these systematic uncertainty models is validated using data from both detectors, including checks of near-far consistency in key kinematic and topology-sensitive observables. This analysis is intended for inclusion in SBN's first oscillation result.
In type 1 diabetes (T1D), autoimmune response and inflammation cause the death of pancreatic ß cells, leading to the body’s inability to produce insulin and maintain glucose homeostasis. This process is at least in part mediated by pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as interferon (IFN)a, IFN?, interleukin (IL)-1ß, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)a, which induce ß-cell dysfunction and apoptosis. A deep understanding of the ß-cell signaling and regulatory networks induced by these cytokines could lead to the identification of therapeutic targets to prevent T1D development. To study cytokine-mediated islets/ß-cell signaling and regulatory networks, a variety of omics experiments have been conducted, including transcriptomics, epigenomics (DNA methylation, UMI-4C, ATAC-seq & ChIP-seq), proteomics (bottom-up, top-down, post-translational modification analysis), lipidomics, and metabolomics. The combination of these datasets can be instrumental in identifying signaling components and regulatory factors involved in ß-cell stress/death. Here, we aggregated these multiple omics datasets into a centralized location, providing a quality-controlled and statistically rigorous resource for investigators seeking to holistically study ß-cell regulation by pro-inflammatory cytokines. The data package consists of isolated pancreatic islets from adult male C57BL6/J mice treated with IL-1β, IFNγ or IL-1β + IFNγ for 6 h and submitted for scRNA-seq. This study focused on understanding the heterogeneity of the cytokine-mediated response.
